GCR Ratings (a Moody’s Company) Affirms MAGMA Finance’s BBB(MU) and A3(MU) Ratings with a Stable Outlook
Ebene, Mauritius – 30 October 2026
GCR Ratings (GCR), part of Moody’s, has affirmed MAGMA Finance’s national scale long-term and short-term issuer ratings of BBB(MU) and A3(MU) respectively. The Outlook remains Stable. The announcement was published on 29 October 2026.
The affirmation follows GCR’s latest review of MAGMA Finance’s credit profile. It confirms that the company has kept its financial standing steady while continuing to grow its cross-border payments business. The Stable Outlook shows that GCR does not expect the ratings to change in the near term.
“Maintaining our rating with a Stable Outlook is an independent confirmation of the discipline behind our growth. For our clients and partners, it means confidence that their cross-border payments are handled by a financially sound and well-governed company,” said Nitish Caullychurn, Director of MAGMA.
