Afraid your money might disappear into a black hole? Sent, and then… silence. No confirmation, no way to know where it is. When a transfer crosses borders, that silence shouldn’t be part of the deal. International payments. Nothing left in the dark. Few paintings have unsettled and fascinated in equal measure like Kazimir Malevich’s Black […]
June Highlights at MAGMA Finance: A Month of Growth, Connections, and Innovation
The first month of summer turned out to be one of the most dynamic periods for MAGMA Finance in recent times. As we shared earlier, we wrapped up June by launching our revamped company website — now more intuitive and user-friendly for both current and potential clients.
Our team was actively on the move, attending three major events across different regions.
InvestPro Tashkent gave us a valuable window into Central Asia. We gained insights into the region’s business needs and shared how MAGMA supports secure international B2B payments, competitive currency conversions, and more.
Fintex Summit in Baku was another important stop. As one of the Caspian region’s key financial hubs, Azerbaijan plays a significant role in the global economy. We engaged with professionals from various financial institutions and businesses, identifying both where we add the most value and where we can improve.
The highlight of the month was undoubtedly FinTech Summit Africa in Johannesburg. This was a milestone for us as a Mauritius-based fintech company — an opportunity to connect with leading African fintechs, banks, and investment firms. We exchanged ideas, introduced innovative transaction solutions, and explored new payment routes. We’re optimistic about Africa’s continued growth and its role in driving financial innovation. A special mention to the Startup World Cup, held alongside the summit — an inspiring initiative by the organizers.
One of the most meaningful milestones for us in June was the MAGMA client satisfaction survey. The results confirmed that a large majority of our users are satisfied with our service quality, the speed of account openings and payments, and the functionality of our technological solutions — such as Internet Banking. Most importantly, most clients said they would recommend us to their partners.
We’ll be sharing a dedicated post with more insights from the survey soon.
Thanks to this feedback, we’re already working on a number of platform enhancements that will help us further solidify our position as one of the most innovative and client-focused fintechs on the market.
So stay tuned — July is shaping up to be just as exciting. Follow MAGMA Finance for more updates, and we invite you to become a part of our growing client community.
Cross-border payments across Africa are being reshaped in real time. And ahead of the Africa Fintech Summit in Kigali, one question moved to the centre of the conversation: not whether stablecoins will play a role in moving money across the continent, but under whose rules they will do it. In a pre-summit discussion, industry leaders […]
