The conference will bring together more than 150 senior professionals from management companies, agents, and international businesses and will focus on FX, cross-border payments, and digital currencies, with a strong emphasis on international B2B business. The speaker lineup includes representatives of leading financial associations and institutions in Mauritius, government bodies, PwC Legal, as well as key industry players, including MAGMA and MITCO.
In its official letter addressed to MAGMA confirming participation, Mr. Abhimanu Kundasamy, Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board Mauritius, highlighted the strategic importance of the Forum for the evolution of Mauritius’ financial ecosystem.
According to Mr. Kundasamy, “the EDB recognises this Forum as a vital catalyst for accelerating the growth and sophistication of the Payments, FX and Digital Assets sectors.” He emphasised that the discussions and themes addressed during the conference are closely aligned with Mauritius’ long-term vision of enhancing its competitiveness as an international financial hub.
He further noted that EDB’s involvement “underscores a strategic commitment to positioning Mauritius as a global hub for financial innovation and cross-border investment.” This commitment reflects Mauritius’ unique role as one of Africa’s key financial centres and as a trusted bridge between markets across different continents, supporting international capital flows, innovation, and sustainable business growth.
