Fintech Conference: Payments, FX and Digital Assets Successfully Held in Mauritius

The Fintech Conference: Payments, FX and Digital Assets has been successfully held at the InterContinental Mauritius, bringing together more than 100 senior professionals from the financial services, international business and fintech sectors.

Organised by MAGMA Finance, the conference served as a high-level professional platform for dialogue on cross-border payments, FX markets and digital assets, with a particular focus on Mauritius’ evolving role as a financial gateway between Africa and the rest of the world.

The organisers were honoured to welcome Dhaneshwar Damry, Junior Minister of Finance of Mauritius, whose participation underscored the importance of public-private engagement in shaping the future of financial services.

The conference also featured Zdeněk Tůma, former Governor of the Czech National Bank, who brought a global macro-financial perspective to discussions on payments, monetary systems and digital innovation.
